What is the Master Plan?
The Master Plan was a process to evaluate Dallas
Public Library's present condition and to develop an integrated
plan for the Library system's future. Findings and
recommendations from the plan will assist decision-making over
the next ten years in the key areas of existing facilities,
future facilities, library services and library technology.
It was an ambitious, challenging undertaking which promises
exciting new possibilities for Dallas Public Library in the 21st
century.
Funding for the Dallas Public Library Master Plan is provided
under the City of Dallas 1998 Bond Program.
