Dallas Public Library

A database is a collection of information—including magazine, journal articles and sometimes books—that has been systematically organized for easy searching. Each of our nearly 100 commercially licensed databases is centered around a theme or focus. You may access them using your Dallas Public Library Card.

A comprehensive database which provides access to over 8,000 scholarly publications, this resource is updated daily and is useful for a wide range of disciplines such as literature, medical information, computer science, education, and the humanities and social sciences. The complete text of articles is provided for approximately half of the journals, in PDF or HTML format.
