Workshops & Registration
Attending WorkshopsFree, fun, interactive workshops are held in neighborhoods throughout Dallas. There are different workshops based on the three age levels: Early Talkers (birth to age 2), Talkers (ages 2 and 3), and Pre-Readers (ages 4 and 5). Attend one, two, or all three! Check out the schedules to find a workshop near you.

All Dallas Public Library locations offer storytimes incorporating the 6 pre-reading skills. These are a great follow up to the workshops.

If you would like to host a workshop at your location for parents, caregivers, or staff development, please call 214-671-8291 or submit this request form.
If you would like to offer these workshops for employees as staff development, but do not have space at your location, we can arrange training at a Dallas Public Library branch near you. Check out this map to find our locations.
