Dallas Public Library’s
2nd Annual International Day
celebration will be held from 12 noon – 4 p.m. on Saturday,
April 7, 2007 at the Central Library
in downtown Dallas. This event is part of
DFW International Month 2007, which will be held from March
8 through April 8, 2007.
Last year approximately 650 people
attended Dallas Public Library’s 1st International Day
celebration. Last year’s free event featured 13 informational
tables representing various nationalities in the DFW area, food
samples from many of the countries and cultures represented and
8 special programs, including music and dancers from around the
world. The event was a rousing success and this year’s event
promises to be bigger and better with even more informational
tables, food samples, programs and music.
If you are interested in participating by hosting a table
featuring a country or culture or by performing or providing
special programming for this year’s International Day at the
Dallas Public Library, please complete the participant
registration form and return it by one of the following means:
