There is a Job Seekers Resource Center
on the 5th floor Business & Technology Division of the Central Library that offers a variety of services, including extended-length computer sessions, résumé writing assistance, job seeker seminars, basic computer classes for beginners, and help with the City of Dallas job application software known as NeoGov. Getting a Job With the City of Dallas
Anyone can look for a city job on www.dallascityhall.org. Under "Find . . ." click on "A Job", which is the second link on the list on the left hand side of the page.
Before you can register to apply, you must have an active e-mail address. If you do not have one you may choose to use gmail, hotmail, or yahoo to create a free one. (Help with creating an e-mail account.)
Applicants will also need to create an account with the City of Dallas with a specific username and password in order to apply for a job.
