The Dallas Public Library is committed to
excellent programs for adults 50+.
The Outreach Unit provides creative and relevant programs to
Senior Centers, Retirement Communities, Church groups, Civic Clubs, and other service
organizations.

The J. Erik Jonsson Library located at 1515 Young
Street provides the following special services:
One of the largest Genealogy resources in the country
- The Shakespeare Folio original copy of Shakespeares works
- The Declaration of Independence original copy, one of only a few in existence
- Rotating Art Exhibits beautiful works of national and international art on
display at various times during the year
- Concerts free musical concerts available throughout the year
